Today is Earth Day! What better way to rejoice than to eat clean today.
But what even is “clean eating”? There are a lot of opinions and definitions floating around out there, but simply put — we believe this aspirational food trend is more about avoiding processed foods and eating whole foods instead. Some yogi and fitness gurus may call it a “way of life” even.
So how do you tackle this clean food trend head on? We rounded up some of our favorite healthy dishes from our top partners to give you a head start! Not for you? Don’t worry, we still don’t discriminate against pizza, burgers, burritos, ice cream or pasta. It’s all about that healthy balance in the end.
Under the weather? These juices will bring you back to neutral! Try a cold crusher, made with carrot juice rich in Beta Carotene, blended with Vitamin C power house orange and lemon juice with the added benefit of turmeric.
Chicago’s Be Leaf salads make it that much easier to eat clean. This seasonal spring salad is one of our favorites, made with spinach, green beans, cucumbers, strawberries, goat cheese, bacon and candied walnuts.
What even is matcha tea? A Japanese powdered green tea, historically used to enhance one’s focus, energy, and alertness. Some people even claim this can be a healthy alternative to coffee. Worth a shot at least!
