What you’ll need —

  • 50ml Jameson Black Barrel
  • 50ml Ginger Beer
  • 25ml Freshly-squeezed pink or ruby red grapefruit juice
  • Smoked salt

How to make the Irish Wolfhound —

  • Mix ice, 50ml whiskey, 50ml ginger beer and juice in a glass.
  • Garnish with a pair of grapefruit half slices.
  • Dip the grapefruit slices in the smoked salt and drop into the drink.
  • You can apply salt to the rim of the glass to make a Salty Wolfhound.

Pro tip — Don’t forget to eat something. Beer with food coloring in it doesn’t count. And rumor has it that cheeseburgers pair well with Jameson. So go ahead and postmate your food fix while you’re at it. Trust us on this one.
