Here at Postmates, we’re dedicated to unlocking the good our communities inherently possess. Our social impact team has built a robust program, including a community engagement arm. We work closely with more than 50 different nonprofits nationwide, including St. Anthony’s. Our employees love volunteering for St. Anthony’s free clothing program and giving to donation drives to support the organization’s programs.

This October, St. Anthony’s recognizes 70 years of service to its community, specifically those affected by poverty and homelessness.

St. Anthony’s first opened its doors on October 4th, 1950, as a single dining room. On its first day of operation, the organization served 400 meals to those in need.

Over the years, this nonprofit has grown its programming to include a free medical clinic, workforce development program, addiction recovery center, tech lab, social work/resource center, and clothing program.

In the past year alone, St. Anthony’s has successfully served more than 1 million meals (for a total of more than 45 million meals served since 1950) and provided over 30,000 items of clothing to those who need them.

Postmates is celebrating this momentous occasion by donating 70 cents each for the first 3,500 deliveries on Postmates using the code HOPE70, starting on October 4th.
