Subway® and Postmates are Feeding Thousands of Nurses for National Nurses Week
To honor incredible nurses during National Nurses Week, we are teaming up with Subway® Restaurants to give customers the power to make a difference and help feed healthcare workers fighting on the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak. Now through May 10, Subway will donate a 6-inch sub to healthcare workers in the U.S. for every Subway order purchased through Postmates with a value of $15 or more. Meals donated by Subway will be delivered by Postmates in coordination with its non-profit partner Feed Hero Nurses, a volunteer-run organization in partnership with Random Acts that is dedicated to providing meals to nurses on the frontlines.
We pride ourselves on giving back to the communities we serve, and we are truly grateful for partners like Subway and Feed Hero Nurses. Together this week, we will support thousands of nurses who are currently working around-the-clock to care for COVID-19 patients.
Feed Hero Nurses was formed quickly in response to COVID-19 by a group of passionate volunteers. Postmates was an early partner and has delivered nearly 4,000 meals to nurses in the last month. We have also facilitated deliveries to Feed Hero Nurses from some of our most famous friends including DJ Steve Aoki and musician Snoop Dogg.
If you are able to pay it forward, consider supporting our nurses and help get them much needed sustenance during their breaks so they can continue fighting on the frontlines.
5/4–5/10/20 Subway® will donate the avg monetary equivalent of a 6" ($4.89) for every $15+ purchase on Postmates, up to $85,000, to Random Acts, Inc. for Feed Hero Nurses. Feed Hero Nurses will use donations to buy Subway® food for participating hospitals.
