Since 2009, Luke's has been serving the world's best lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls, with seafood sourced directly from sustainable fishermen and cared for by the Luke's team through every step of the process until it reaches your plate. An authentic, casual lobster shack, Luke's is the perfect spot to enjoy life's everyday celebrations while supporting a sustainable mission. Here are four ways you can enjoy their award-winning lobster.
To celebrate their 10th Anniversary, Luke's partnered with a beloved chef in each of their cities to come up with a unique twist on their traditional lobster roll, and will donate $1 from every roll sold to a local charity. Here in Chicago, Luke's partnered with Chef José Andrés of Think Food Group on a Lobster Roll with Pimenton Aioli and Piparra Peppers. For every one of these rolls sold, they'll donate to World Central Kitchen. This is a rare opportunity and these rolls will only be available until October 31!
Luke's is most famous for their Maine-style lobster roll. It starts with a New England-style split-top bun, buttered and griddled to a golden brown. They add a tiny swipe of mayo inside the bun (it's all made to order, so you can get it without if you prefer!), then pile in your choice of either 4 or 6 ounces of perfectly steamed lobster knuckle and claw meat. It's topped with a secret seasoning, and accompanied by a cup of warm lemon butter for you to drizzle on top. Gluten free buns are available.
A lobster roll is never better than right after that bun comes off the griddle, so Luke's put together a neat kit for you to make your own lobster roll fresh at home! The box includes everything you need to make two lobster rolls along with detailed instructions. The whole process only takes 5-10 minutes. It's perfect for whipping up dinner for the family or impressive in-home entertaining!
