Variety: Pink Bourbon
We are extremely honored to be bringing you two coffees from Finca Monteblanco located in Huila, Colombia. Head producer Rodrigo Sanchez has been working tirelessly to develop consistently exceptional specialty coffees over the years; the focus here is quality over quantity.
Years ago Rodrigo discovered coffee trees on his farm that stood out from the others, trees that had leaves resembling the Gesha cultivar. It was also discovered that these trees produced coffees that were similar in quality and cup profile to Gesha. Him and his team were able to successfully separate lots of Pink Bourbon in 2014 to comprise 3 total hectares (7.4 acres) of Monteblanco’s 18 hectares.
