There was a black rabbit in 1990 who briefly appeared and listened silently, as rabbits do, while a group of McMenamins folk stood surveying the dilapidated Edgefield estate, imagining what could be. Then, in a blink, she disappeared down a hole, taking secrets with her. 30 years later, the secrets have been revealed and the rabbit has become a legend and an icon, symbolizing all that would become.
