1 Box. Baumkuchen is a traditional German cake, baked on a spit by adding layers of the batter while rotating. In a similar way to Kasutera, it has evolved to become softer and lighter than its German ancestor, and it is a popular sweet in Jpan today. We made our Baumkuchen with rich almond powder and gave it a hint of rum. The result is a moist and light sponge cake.
