Ingredients: Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Dehydrated Tomato, Salt, Onion Powder, Leavening (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate, Calcium Sulfate) with Corn Starch, Dehydrated Green Onion, Spices, Garlic Powder, Spice Extractive Contains: Wheat, Corn, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish, Eggs, Soybeans, Milk, Sesame, Sulfites
Directions for use: 1. combine 9.5 oz (270 g) grace saltfish fritter mix and 2 cups (500 ml) water. (use 1-1/2 cups (375 ml) of water for thicker fritters). 2. let batter sit for 10 mins. 3. fry by tbsp, in 1/2 inch of oil until golden brown. 4. drain on absorbent paper. serve hot. yields 40 fritters. salt fish fritter: 1. pre-soak 1/4 lb (115 g) salted fish overnight in enough water to cover the fish. 2. remove skin, debone and flake fish. 3. combine 270 g grace saltfish fritter mix and 2 cups (500 ml) water. 4. combine flaked salted fish with batter. 5. follow steps 2 - 4 from above directions. quick tip: 115 g canned corned beef, drained canned sardines or bacon bits may be substituted for flaked salted fish in this recipe. fritters are ideal for breakfast, served with coffee, tea or juice and a slice of tomato. try also as a snack or appetizer.
