Join Us In Supporting Houston’s Disaster Relief Fund

Like the rest of the nation, we are devastated by the events unfolding this week in Texas. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, one of the largest natural disasters America has ever faced — tens of thousands of people are finding themselves displaced.

We stand with our communities in Texas, and remain committed to bringing a little help to those in need. To help support the relief efforts, we’ve teamed up with the Mayor of Houston’s Disaster Relief Fund with a pledge of $20,000. And as Dallas-Fort Worth opens its arms to thousands of evacuees, we’re also helping connect those in need to the basic goods and resources they need.

Our network of Postmates is connecting individuals at local evacuation centers with food, water, batteries, or other supplies needed at zero delivery cost to the following DFW-area evacuation shelters: The Salvation Army DFW Metroplex Command, located at the Walnut Hill Rec Center, the Tommie Allen Rec Center, and the Samuel Grand Rec Center.

In a disaster of this magnitude, every little bit counts — and we encourage you to also give what you can to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund or dedicate your time to volunteering.
