Sandwiches
- Chicago Style Italian Beef Sandwich$13.50Just as Philadelphia has its famous Philly Sandwich, Chicago is famous for its Italian Beef Sandwiches. There is a reason why these sandwiches are loved by so many, they are delicious. We are confident that we can put our "Beef Poorboy" up against the most famous in Chicago and come out as a favorite. We start with a top sirloin roast that is seasoned with 14 different herbs and seasonings. We then slow roast it for a few hours until it reaches an internal temp of 135 degrees. The roast is then separated from the pan drippings and cooled overnight. The drippings are then given some additional seasonings, and thickened just a bit to make what folks in Chicago refer to as Da Gravy. When the roast has cooled, we slice it paper thin and reunite it with the gravy where the flavors marry and the magic is completed. The sandwiches are served on a traditional Turano French roll and can be served wet or dipped. Wet means we pour a couple ladles of juice over the sandwich and dipped means we we take the whole sandwich and submerge it in the juice. Don't worry, the Turano French rolls are made to hold up to all the wetness of the sandwich. We also include a few pepperoncinis on the side and offer our homemade Giardiniera as a side. This is a favorite of Annagio's regular customers.

- Ribeye Steak Sandwich$22.75This is a new menu item that is quickly becoming a best seller. Our ribeye steaks are fresh from Penshorn's Meat Market. We season with salt and pepper and then pan sear them with olive oil, butter, and thyme. They then go into the oven to finish them to perfection. After they have rested, we thick slice the steak and place on a grilled Ciabatta roll that has been smeared with our homemade Dijon and Mayo sauce. We then top with fresh lettuce and tomato.
