Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve Champagne is a light, fine, and harmonious blend crafted from three different years, utilizing grapes from prime sites within the Champagne region. It comprises 30% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, 30% Chardonnay from esteemed Crus, and 40% Pinot Meunier from Vallée de la Marne and Epernay's southern slopes. The vinification process takes place in stainless steel tanks, incorporating 50% to 60% reserve wines. This champagne undergoes ageing on lees for 30 months. With a straw yellow appearance, the champagne features fine, slowly rising bubbles and a persistent, abundant mousse, exuding a youthful sparkle. Its aroma is marked by a distinct and precise intensity, offering ethereal qualities and a natural freshness. Floral notes and fresh fruits are at the forefront, complemented by very pure and lightly biscuit aromas. On the palate, it delivers a subtle pleasure with a delicate texture, reminiscent of white flesh fruit flavors like apples and crunchy pears. It combines a fluid and light deliciousness with springtime gourmand flavors.
