This Eucheuma Spinosum sea moss is sun dried and wildcrafted from Son Hai, Nihn Thuan, Vietnam. We stand to NEVER provide pool grown sea moss.  Gold sea moss is raw and sun-dried! 2 oz of dried sea moss will make about 32 oz of sea moss gel!   HOW TO PREPARE SEA MOSS GEL:   1) Clean Your Moss This is derived from the ocean so it has natural remains on it. Clean your gel 2-3 times thoroughly and honor your medicine.   2) Soak Your Moss Once it is clean you can soak it for 45 minutes to an hour. Sea Moss expands 2-4x its dried size. You can also add key limes to further neutralize the ocean smell/taste, but this will soften the sea moss. Don’t throw away the water after your soaks, as it is full of minerals! It is very potent and good for your plants!   3) Blend Your Sea Moss Finally its time to take your soaked sea moss and blend it with water until you reach the desired gel like consistency! This is a great time to add key limes or your favorite infusions, but make sure to remove the seeds from the key limes.   Storage: Keep your sea moss gel stored in the refrigerator! It lasts 3-4 weeks! Don’t want to make it gel just yet? Dried Sea Moss is good for at least a year! You can also freeze your sea moss gel to preserve it until you need it!
