Johnny's Chimi Place

Chimi is a derivative of the word chimichurri, a traditional dominican burger served in the dominican republic. Our chimi’s are made from ground beef, grilled or crispy chicken, and pork. All our chimi’s are made with your choice of meat served on a freshly baked roll of bread called “pan de agua, ” garnished with chopped cabbage and topped off with ketchup, mayonnaise, and our own special chimi sauce.

Pastelito’s are small snacks consisting of fried buttery crispy dough that are filled with different meats and cheeses.

Fritura is a general translation used by dominicans to described fried foods. Our fried food options are made depending on the how many meats you’d like in your plate.

The yaroa is a dish made with the base being french fries or fried sweet plantains covered with ketchup, mayonnaise and chimi sauce. Then covered with your choice of chicken or beef or both and topped with melted cheese and more ketchup mayonnasie and chimi sauce.

Chimi combos are similar to meals at your local fast food location where you may have a chimi of your choice with fries and a canned soda.

Pincho’s are delicious, simple. They are handled skewers or also known as kabob’s made of chicken or pork, accompanied with a piece of garlic bread toast.

A kipe wheat fritter stuffed with ground beef, or a deep fried bulgur roll with beef.
