In the early 1900s in the US, the In 1937, the Benedictine company decided to produce this cocktail by blending 60% BNDICTINE D.O.M. with 40% fine French Brandy, allowing the flavors to rest and harmonize in French oak vats for a warmer, deeper and drier taste.
