COLUMBIA VALLEY, WASHINGTON
Crisp, dry and refreshingly mineral. Notes of grapefruit, watermelon and strawberry Twizzlers. 52% Mourvèdre & 48% Grenache.
A perennial favorite, this rosé is fresh & light, with touches of grapefruit -- a love letter from the Columbia Valley to the rosés of France's Bandol region. The color of the wine dances in your glass, inviting you to drink now, drink often and drink chilled.
As fifth-generation stewards of land in the Wahluke Slope AVA, Gilbert Cellars works to ensure its viability for the generations to come. Washington State has just launched the Sustainable WA certification, which Gilbert is practicing, along with farming organically in vineyards where the microclimates make it possible. Gilbert Cellars' goal is to have minimal intervention in the vines, tending them for the sake of healthy plants and soil, and to minimize the amount of interaction post-harvest.
