Taylor Digital Food & Oven Thermometer

$22.75
Details

Does your food take longer to cook because you have to keep opening the oven door to check if the food is done or not? No need to constantly open the oven door anymore! The thermometer sits on the counter while the cord winds through the oven door and the temperature can be read without opening the oven door, very convenient. The Taylor 1478-21 displays temperature in Fahrenheit (32 degrees F to 392 degrees F) and Celsius (0 degrees C to 200 degrees C). This thermometer conveniently monitors exact temperature of meat, poultry, or any food without opening the oven door. The thermometer comes with a durable 6 inch, stainless steel probe and a 46" silicone cord. The cord is safe up to 485 degrees F/250 degrees C. When your food hits your preset time or desired internal temperature, an alarm signal occurs to ensure perfect results. You can display the thermometer 2 ways: stand up display for counter top use or there is a magnet on the back to hold on to an oven door. This thermometer can be used for grilling, as long as the cord does not get exposed to a direct flame. To save battery life, the thermometer comes with an on/off switch, is backed by a 1 year warranty and runs on 2 AAA batteries (included). Helpful hints-The meat probe is a thin wire coated in Silicone. Be very careful not to crimp this wire in the oven- door , BBQ top ,or Smoker door. The probe , like all in the industry , should be kept away from flame flare-ups and contact with cooking surfaces. Another tip- be sure to insert the probe into the meat at least 1.5 inches. This insures that you will get the correct readings at all times.
