Permatex's Ultra Red offers high temperature resistant available today. Ultra Red is a high-performance low-odor formulation, outperforming the previous gen. Red RTV. Ultra Red resists temperatures up to 650°F (343°C). This high temperature gasket maker is resistant to high thermal cycling and is sensor-safe, non-corrosive RTV. This chemical gasket maker can be used in replacement of pre-cut gaskets and is ideal for high-temperature applications such as the exhaust manifold, header, turbochargers and slip-fit exhaust parts.
Directions for use: Usage of instructions:Directions: 1. For best results, surfaces should be clean and dry. 2. Cut nozzle and apply a continuous 1/6 inch to 1/4 inch )2 to 6mm) bead of silicone to one surface. Surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts immediately while silicone is still wet. Finger tighten until material begins to squeeze out around flange. 3. Let dry for one hour then tighten to torque specifications. 4.
