Ingredients for 2 servings. you will need: 1/2 cup water. 2 eggs. 10 oz. cabbage, chopped. 1 oz. green onion, chopped. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. 6 slices pork belly (or bacon), skip for vegetarian options. how to make okonomiyaki: you can change ingredients to suit your taste. 1. mix: mix the whole bag of okonomiyaki flour with eggs and water in a bowl. add cabbage and green onion and mix again. 2. heat: heat griddle or frying pan at medium heat and add 1 tbsp oil. add half mixture onto the frying pan and place 3 slices of pork belly or bacon on the top. 3. cook: cook for 4 minutes. then, flip it over and cook for another 4 minutes. finally flip it back. repeat the process by using the remaining mixture for the second okonomiyaki. 4. topping: drizzle sauce evenly over each okonomiyaki. add mayonnaise, dried seaweed, and bonito flakes of your preference.
